What is Baptism? No doubt, most people have a fairly strong opinion on it. Did you know that many denominations have been started over the entire issue of baptism and how it is to be performed? Maybe you grew up in a family in which baptism was a big deal. Most often, baptism would enter our conversations through the birth of a new child. This new child would start the process of a large family gathering at the church in order to watch their infant being baptized or sprinkled with water. But what did it mean? What was the significance behind it? What does the Bible have to say about baptism? Today, baptism is becoming more fuzzy and confusing to those seeking knowledge behind the substance.
